Royal Dee Side is located on west side of Aberdeen and its well known for its fine castles including Balmoral Castle where Queen visits every summer.

There are over 17 castles in the area and many of them within an hour of drive from Aberdeen. Many offer enjoyable walks, beautiful gardens, gift shops and cafés where you will be able to enjoy lovely lunch.

Aberdeen hosts many entertainment venues from His Majesty's Theatre which holds major shows such as Shrek, Wicked, Two Russell Watson to many performances from the Scottish Ballet and Opera. The Music Hall is smaller than HMT however still hosts good variety of world class performers. From Sir Ranulph Fiennes, comedian Jon Richardson, musicians Patsy Cline and Paloma Faith. The smallest venue is a Lemon Tree which holds between 300 to 500, so viewers get real intimate feeling.
